Let the countdown commence!

So there I was, thinking I was just getting into the groove of things. Mommy to two ...um, angels, big farm house in the country, settling into the housewife routine, with grand plans to write that novel I am always tell myself I am going to write. Overall, I am blissfully happy. Extremely tired, but happy none the less. Except for one thing, I know, I know...you are probably beyond tired of me whining about it, but today is the official start of my birthday month, and in 27 more days, I will be even older. I am being inundated with adult crap like mini vans, and life insurance, finalizing my will, going in for yearly physicals...blah. I am literally shopping around for those harness things (don't call it a leash, don't call it a leash) you put on your kids, for when we go on vacation.

Yikes.

So, what's a girl to do?

Well, first off, I dyed my hair blond, and rocked out my too big for my face Olsen twins sunglasses.

Then, we got a sports car. I mean, it is the most practical vehicle for a family of four, is it not?

Up next, going to a bar and pretending not to be exhausted by 9:30pm while wearing a dress short enough to look young, but long enough to hide my Spanx.

Prepare yourselves folks, 27 more days of rational thoughts yet to come!

The car is great...I almost got a Porsche Boxster and then found out I was pregnant!

LOL! 27 is the new 17, because I would like to think that 31 is the new 21. Think how OLD I must be feeling, because I haven't even popped any kids out yet!
