Growing up, one M&M at a time.

I had grand plans to post something brilliant today. Seriously, it was all kinds of awesome, and it even fell on the side of good taste.

But, then, well, we got kinda busy...actually, very busy...doing really, really important big kid stuff.

So, it turns out, we really can't be bothered with good taste today.

So, excuse us, I have a Cosmo to read, and a certain toddler gets another M&M if he gets it all in the bowl this time.

Yes, the potty training is all-consuming! I loved that Bjorn potty--especially for the boys!

Imagine the shock of everyone out there who googled "m&m's"

This is probably not what they expected!

oh...and i wanted to include in my "how we met segment" after you tried to wipe the beer off with a used tissue that i accused you of trying to feel me up, but that would have totally been unacceptable to some of my readers. i giggled just thinking about it though!

Jennifer...I am glad to hear! I stared at potties for about an hour today trying to make the best choice...even though it's like peeing in tupperware.

Natalie...I know, new low, huh:) And btw, I will always know, IN MY HEART, that I had every intention of feeling you up that fateful day.

Lamb...BURN!

Ali...I know, I am ruining items for the googling community, one piece of food at a time!

so, do you get an MnM too?

Miss Lisa said...

I so hate potty training. I think the mom should get a shot of tequila every time the kid gets the m&m ;)

Brittany said...

Marie...Thanks!

Shelly...Too funny! Welcome girly!

Jen...Are you totally hating on my boy shorts?!?! not all of us can be hotties in thongs like you missy:)

Misty...Only if I remember to wipe!

Lisa...Good rule! I am instituting that at once!

I potty trained with M&M's too! Worked like a charm...so hated that part of my life!!!

We used every version of every damn potty... the only one that got my ankle biter trained was the fisher price potty that sings and makes noise.

I hate it, but it does have an off switch and it worked. Good luck with it, once it is done, life seems easier!

Ha! Love it!

M&M's were the bribery of choice for my mom when she potty trained me and I totally plan on using it for my son. My daughter didn't need bribery...I'm pretty sure that means that my son will be extra hard to train.

What prompted the beginning of potty training? I thought you were waiting. I'm filing the M&M idea away for future reference.

LMAO! That rug looks extra plush :)

Good luck with the M & M's! If not, I heard throwing them into potty makes for great target practice ;)

Judy...I am so getting there, and it's only been a day.

Charlie...Tanks! I am a mean mom though and refused the singing toilet. My husband was pissed (hehe) but I don't need another noisemaker in this house!

Asianmommy...Thanks for stopping by and commenting, I love it!

AJ...See, I am so dreading doing this again right away...I think I need to just train them both at once.

PGal...SHIT! And here I thought I had the monopoly on poop-isms!

Emily...Um, that idea was quickly sidetracked when he started taking off his diaper the second he peed or pooped in it because he no longer likes it touching his flesh...

Sandy...Oh yes, gotta love the shag bathroom rug, I have them in every room;) And yes, I am making him sit and pee right now, which my hub is outraged about...but as soon as I get the guts to teach him he has to hold onto it...then we'll use them as target practice!

Oh, I remember those days with my kids! I used to get gumdrops. I guess M&Ms weren't invented when I was potty training.

Thanks for stopping by my place. I'm glad you're enjoying the story.

As I was reading this post..I look to the right column and see the heading "Lables" I am not one of those people who like to correct people/obsessed with spelling...BUT I just wanted to let you know...Im pretty sure you meant 'Labels'...but then again you are quirky..maybe you did mean it :)
Love the blog!

Jenni...Thanks for stopping by as well!

Bailey...DAMN photoshop and it's lack of spell check! Thanks, and it's been corrected:) Hey, it could have been worse, and spelled as "labia." You rock!

Politi Gal said...

Hey, if your not going to use the Labia (I mean on your blog) thing, mind if I do?

Brittany said...

PGirl...You can have the labia...but ONLY because I know you will put it to good use.
